Toy Elephant

I like to draw cubic animals, and my dad helped me turn one of my characters into a sculpture. It is made out of wood. Dad did the sculpture and cut the wood (saws are dangerous!), and I picked the colors and did all the painting. It takes a lot of paint to make things smooth.

I got the book Pencil, Paper, Draw! so that I could learn to draw different kinds of animals. Here are some of my favorites. I like to draw horses, too.

Where The Wild Things Are

One day in art class our art teacher told us to create our very own wild thing. We were studying Maurice Sendak. I decided to make mine upside down hanging on a branch. I used cut paper and paint to create him.
